Does donating blood help with high blood pressure?

It'd seem logical... But propably isn't? Or only for short while?
Answer:
No.

Blood pressure is based upon how hard the heart pumps out blood. The first part I believe is how hard/fast the heart pumps blood out, I think I heard the second is the valves closing and taking in blood.

Might want to look that up.
Only for a short while.
You will experience a temporary drop in blood pressure due to reducing your overall blood volume but as you suspected it's temporary. It's not considered therapeutic as it does not change the underlying condition causing ones HBP and is quite brief.
While a severe loss of blood will drop the pressure causing hypovolemia (low blood volume) donating a pint of blood will not help. Blood pressure is the amount of pressure exerted against the vessel wall when the heart contracts.
I dont see how it could.. I mean how would it?? I dont even see where it would be logical.
No, I don't think so. If you have high blood pressure you should see a doctor. It can damage your heart or cause a stroke.
No!Dont be fooled into thinking that... ur body wil adjust itself to bloodloss and u can believe the pb will still be high.. please seek medical help for high bp!
actually, donating blood is good for health.it doesn't mean that now,u start donating blood everytime or if u have no enough blood as well.
so,if u think u can donate ,then, donating with a gap of every 3to 4 months can be done after certain age18-20%26if your body weights about 45-whatever,i don't know. but plz don't start doing it.
%26i don't know about donating the blood even if we have high blood pressure...
plz ask to the heart speciallist or who knows about it...
or search on the internet.
take care...
