Does anyone know a good way to get clean fron drugs?
Answer:
You can go cold turkey or just get hooked on another drug to keep you from doing drugs. The drug that I speak of is, methadone. You can get hooked to that one just like any other drug. So If I were you I would just go cold turkey. I even asked someone who is on drugs. He said he would rather go cold turkey than to use methadone. So I hope you find what your looking for. You can also go to a rehab clinic and get help there. Good Luck!
drink water, go to a doctor,
don't think about it
depending on the drug you have one of two options
ease off of it by doing less and less even though your body will crave it
or
go cold turkey, but thats harder to do because it will usually make you somewhat sick
so if its "hard" drugs, the kind that are like addiction in a high
its best to check into a clinic so that they can take care of you
and the clinics are confidential
check into rehab and then to therapy and most of all ask for the good lords help !!!! good luck p.s. i am a recovering meth head
It all depends on what drug you are using. Cocaine, though emotionally addictive, does not cause a physical dependence. That means you can stop anytime and not go through withdrawal symptoms (other than psychological ones).
Heroine, crack, methadone, and alcohol all cause one to be physically addicted. That means that you HAVE to go through withdrawal (which can often be very painful and long) to get off the drug. But that is every MORE of a reason to get off them right? If they are causing your body that much harm, then it is so necessary to stop.
I suggest that if you are on a drug that does not cause a physical withdrawal, you gain support from non-using family and friends. Get in touch with a counselor and see if you can start getting help and finding out why you think you need the drugs (they are almost always a replacement for something that is missing in your life). Join a bible-teaching church where you will be sure to find many people like you, but whom are also willing to support you and accept you.
Start attending AA or other addictions meetings. Get a mentor who will be sure to talk with you regularly, and support you through your trials. Attend meetings every single night until you are absolutely sure you have succeeded in quitting.
My prayers are for you or whomever you are concerned about - I pray God will bless you, provide success, and more than anything, help you to understand that you are valuable and loved by Him, just as you are. Good luck!
