Does anyone know anything about drugs(cocaine, ecstacy) and their long-term effect on the mind??

I heard that everytime you take ecstasy, it puts a hole in your brain and that it stays in your spine for years.I also heard that if you crack your back, you can experience the feelings of being on the drug again. Is this true? What,if anything, is that limited to?What else do you know about its' effects? And what about cocaine,on its' own, and also, mixed with the ecstasy?Does snorting ecstasy have worsened side effects or "quickened" ones'?
Answer:
I dont know if i should be telling u this but if your curious i will let u know a little about them. I live in a town thats all about drugs i first tried coke when i was 14 and didnt stop until i was 21. it is a very bad drug it only gives you a high for a little while and then you have to suffer fir hours with the down that comes from it. I tried ecstasy when i turned 18 and it was bad i didnt know what was going on for hours and i couldnt sleep or eat for days i weighed almost nothing. my body was so worn down and the long term side effects were memory lose and bleeding ulcers in my stomach. You dont ever mix drugs together there is a large probability that it will kill u! Now just to be straight if your considering doing any of these things dont one in four people that try drugs there first time will die. its just not worth it. All u have to do is use it once and you will be addicted. If u need more information you can e-mail me.
it will screw you up.
Ive never heard of the back cracking thing and i dont know if it actually puts a hole in your brain but it seems like thats what happens. It will affect your memory. i dont know what the point of cocaine is, it only lasts about 30 mins. Stay away trust me!!
both drugs can lead to psychosis which is a severe mental disorder. cocaine rots your tissues away and ecstasy makes u paranoid.
If you want to keep you're serenity stay the hell away from that **** I have lost allot of friends to that **** and some you cant even have a conversation with anymore their brains are fried.
What it does is kill brain cells and you will never get them back.
I know one guy spending the rest of his life in a state mental hospital only doing a cocktail like that one time
!
STAY THE **** AWAY!!!
Ecstasy(MDMA) does not put a physical hole in the brain but can damage the brain.and cause problems;

These can include confusion, depression, sleep problems, drug craving, and severe anxiety. These problems can occur during and sometimes days or weeks after taking.
showed that exposure to MDMA for only 4 days caused damage to serotonin nerve terminals that was evident 6 to 7 years later(Flashbacks).

Cracking you back probably wont cause the Flashback, it is unpredictable when they will occur.

Mixing any drug with another drug (including alcohol, yes alcohol is a drug) is more likely to cause more damage and increases the danger of physical or psychological problems.

the different ways of introducing the drug into your body have there own risks. snorting can damage the nasal passage an loss of sense of smell, injection can increase risk of HIV or Hep C.

Your best bet is to not start using the drug.
Even using Ecstasy a couple of times can cause permanent damage to your brain. Basically what it does is damage the neurons in brain, preventing different areas from being able to talk to each other, and eventually making you unable to access certain parts of it. This has been seen as the cause of memory-loss, loss of motor function, heart problems as well as other forms of permanent brain damage. As more and more people use this drug we are learning more and more about how damaging it is to the brain. Another thing dangerous about it is the different chemicals certain pills end up being mixed with. Since Ecstasy is illegal and unregulated, you never know what other chemicals the people who made it put in it. Using Ecstasy causes the brain to dump huge amounts of serotonin into the body. Since this depletes the body's cache of this valuable chemical many people feel bummed out, or lethargic once they come down. It can take about two weeks for the brain make enough serotonin to compensate for what it lost from one dose. However, many people don't wait this long between uses which puts extreme stress on the brain, which may further damage it. Since both ecstasy and cocaine put extreme stress on the heart using both together is extremely dangerous. Using alcohol with any combination of these two is also extremely dangerous. Just stay away from any drug unless your doctor says it's OK.
This link will take you to a website that has the answer to your question. It explains how each of the popular drugs effect the brain.
